Agave Australis Aged Agave Spirit 2yr is crafted from 100 percent blue agave grown at altitude in the volcanic soils of Far North Queensland. The agave is slow roasted in a volcanic rock pit before being distilled in traditional copper pots at Mt Uncle Distillery.
After distillation, the spirit is aged for two years in American oak barrels. This extended maturation builds deeper oak, caramel, dried fruit and dark chocolate notes while retaining the distinctive character of Australian grown agave.
