Watkins Whisky Co. Single Malt is crafted at Mt Uncle Distillery using locally grown Queensland barley and pure spring water from the Atherton Tablelands. The spirit is matured for seven years in French oak barriques that previously held red wine and finished in American oak to build depth and structure. This careful ageing develops a rich amber colour and layered character shaped by the region’s warm tropical climate.
 
The palate opens with notes of honey, soft spice and vanilla, followed by hints of dried fruit and toasted oak from the French barrels. Smooth and full flavoured, it shows natural sweetness balanced by gentle tannin and a long refined finish.
